How can I check the transmission fluid level on 2001 BMW 525i

No dipstick, you check the level under the car by removing the fill plug. BMW says their transmission fluid is for life. If you want to change it I suggest you get a filter, some fluid and some jack stands and watch few DIY's. www.bavauto.com
