My 328i has really bad acceleration & noises...why? :/

Asked by Aug 17, 2015 at 10:04 AM about the 2007 BMW 3 Series 328i Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So, I have this '07 328i and had to have the MAF & 3 coils replaced, :/ after I had that
done my acceleration wasn't the same(and it used to go 0-100 in...I want to say less then
10sec.) ,now it seems like it has little power, the engine seems really forced even @ 70 :(
Also, about a month after that, my deck belt broke....had to have that replaced, and the
mechanic also said that the wires to my battery were overheating....replaced those as
well....now its kind of lags when starting; and there are two strange noises when running it,
even when Im parked....where it used to be silent before...you could barely hear the
engine. One of the noises is almost like a howling sound as if the belt is loose...the other
is like a cricket noise :/ :/ :/ HELP  PLEASE!!!

Check the belt tensioner and pulleys.
