Questions about my car

Asked by Christy Jun 27, 2020 at 09:13 AM about the 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Hyundai sonata gls 90000
miles great condition. I hit a deer a month
ago bad yes but seen worse. 3700 in
damages. First the body shop did a shit of
job everything is out of whack. But now my
car is running real bad using gas exhaust
smell comes out the ac vents sometimes.
No lights are on. The front end feels loose
almost like a road walk type thing. And all
the repair people say is catalytic converter
stopped up and not caused by hitting a deer
doing 35mph. Any suggestions please my
car ran excellent and was in bbn tip top
condition now it has a very gapped hood
that flops going down the road. I feel like in
getting a raw deal please see e help

I would go back to the body shop and complain. They got paid to complete the job correctly. Exhaust smell in the cabin indicates a leak.

Unless you can convince the insurance company that the cat damage was caused by the accident you are out of luck. Regarding the body work problems you should have a guarantee. You may also want to complain to your states consumer affairs office.
