Chrysler 2010 Sebring limited

Asked by Katelyn Dec 13, 2020 at 04:53 PM about the 2010 Chrysler Sebring Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my car suddenly stopped working. The
lightning bolt on the dash came on. We tried
replacing both the throttle body/sensor and
the gas pedal, to no avail. Got it read by a
code scanner and it says that our crankshaft
sensor is down but we just bought it. Could it
me faulty?  Could a bad crankshaft sensor
cause that light to go off?

It was the crankshaft sensor but know our engine starts but then the check engine light starts blinking on my dash. We didn’t have to calibrate the other sensor we got, but should we because the car went in safety mode?
