2010 chrysler sebring top malfunction

My 2010 chrysler sebring top wont go down. When i push
the top down button i can hear the motor running, but
nothing happens. I get a top malfunction light.

2010 chrysler sebring convertible top goes into trunck ok but trunk lid does not close
