Your description is so thorough, it put me into temporary (I hope) brain overload accompanied by an extreme state of confusion. Short answer: replace the battery, again.

We ran another diagnostic on it and still no codes. Left the cables unhooked and the car is still lowered and will not allow any access to normal height mode. Something is telling the car that for safety reasons it has locked the driving terrain and transmission gears at a lowered gear setting. I'm guessing something like a failing brake. So checked everything and all suspension and brake system parts check out however the orange glow of "brake" has always been on due to the previous owners wearing brakes past their good and broke off the tip to the brake sensor that tells you it's time to change brakes! However correct me if I'm wrong, but it already had that problem and never had any problems at all until the battery change so why that 1 sensor cause this and is that possible to completely shut down a cars driving mode and have it geared low? Also if we manage to unlock the parking brake and drive the car it's really delayed in shifting through the gears. If we put it in sport mode and manually shift the gears, the car rides just fine. I noticed just today a horrible wobble like a tire had a knot in it. I checked and all are ok no bad spots. Looking at some other people's problems with this car I noticed a few different types of land rovers having to get the steering sensor reset after a battery change?? This whole German engineering is crazy-mad
