1970 Buick GSX body the same length as a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle?

They look very identical as far as roofline,
trim, etc....but the chevelle looks shorter.

You are correct. The Chevelle is shorter. By 5 inches. The '70 Skylark is 202.2 inches bumper to bumper. While the Chevelle is 197.2 inches bumper to bumper. HTH. -Jim
