When buying a chrysler conquest what are major things you should look for so you don't buy a lemon

OK, took a little digging on this one. In North America, this car is branded as the Conquest, but, it's really a Mitsubishi Starion. It's a Japanese car, when purchasing any car condition is everything. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Starion

If the exhaust pipe is hooked up check the exhaust pipe , one finger and wipe the inside of the exhaust pipe If U get oil residue on your fingertip and it's sticky then it's using oil if it's. Black smut like then it's due to too much Rich fuel but if it's just white ash the engine is in top grade shape

check turbo have been known to lose bearing. other than than awesome car. had a new 1987 .one of the best sport cars i had. good handling(come hwy exit @ 90mph and shift. what a rush. looking for on e to buy but not expensive.
