Recommendations are just that. It does depend on driving habits, road terrain, weather and other factors as to how quickly parts like these you are concerned about reach their life span. The question you should be asking yourself is: Is there excessive vibration from engine revs? Does your vehicle bounce excessivley or have poor handling? If no then you should be OK. These parts you are concerned about will show signs of wear long before they are bad or broken in most cases. Good Luck
