2008 Dodge Charger, Think I have a head gasket problem. any suggestions?

Asked by TLX_4482 Feb 06, 2017 at 06:48 PM about the 2008 Dodge Charger SE RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Getting on the highway speeding semi behind me, floored the gas pedal.
Dials stop working 20 miles down the road symbols appear on dash,  said if
flashing pull over and have vehicle towed.  Not flashing so drove an additional
10 miles then started loosing power pulled over, car overheated and wouldn't
start, had vehicle towed in.  Blew a boot off of the top lost all fluids. now
possible head gasket problem.  I agree class action lawsuit, I owe close to
$7,000 and 1 1/2 years left on loan.  Screwed.

Class action law suits sounds really tough but what it means is the lawyers get all the money and you get a coupon for a couple of grand off on a new Charger.

Sucks to be you, you shouldn't have purchase a Chrysler product, they are junk...

To be fair to Chrysler though, if you drive it like a hot rod and floor it all the time, you were bound to shorten engine life.

To be fair its a car that should be beat on, its not a Kia sport...
