2008 Lexus RX400h Stopped being able to accelerate

Was driving when the car stopped accelerating, no
matter how much pedal was depressed. Engine
stayed running and when cranked it starts and
idles in fuel saver mode.

Yes you can take this to your mechanic an have this properly fixed ,there is a sensor on your gas peddle an needs to be replaced an then the codes have to be be cleared ,this is a common problems with a lot of Toyotas but surely a easy fix ,the reason I say take it to a mechanic is because he gonna put a scanner on it an make sure that this is your problem
