Is the 2021 Lexus RX Hybrid a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Owners commonly praise its smooth and powerful performance, luxurious features, and overall reliability, and many also like the comfortable driving experience and stylish design. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a luxury crossover that emphasizes comfort, efficiency, and premium everyday use. Is the 2021 Lexus RX Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as reliable, and the feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience with strong long-term appeal. That matters if you want a used luxury SUV you can count on for daily driving without giving up comfort. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying too much for a well-kept example, so condition and maintenance history should still guide your decision.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lexus RX Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, prior repairs, and any signs that the hybrid system or luxury features need attention. Focus on overall condition, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the smooth, refined ownership experience this model is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 244 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,479, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $38,599 sits slightly below last year's $39,321.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the recent softening suggests resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because shoppers in this segment tend to value comfort, efficiency, and premium features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.84% compared with last year.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2021 if you want the updated tech and a strong mix of comfort, efficiency, and owner satisfaction in a used luxury SUV. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2021 remains a smart target when you find a clean, well-priced example.
