brake warning indicator illuminates sporadically.

Asked by Oct 01, 2013 at 03:31 PM about the 2008 Saab 9-5 2.3T

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The brake warning dash indicator, both visual and audible, toggles on and off at various frequencies. The owners manual suggests that the alarm indicates that the master cylinder reservoir is low on fluid but that is not the case. Any suggestions??

Could be the float in the brake fluid reservoir.
