can i put 215/70/16 on my 2008 pontiac grand prix?

have 225/60/16 on right now,,can i change and put on 215/70/16 on?

Due to the taller tire diameter of the 215/70/16 tire, it might hit the fender well while riding thru a "bump & turn" situation on the road. Check the overall tire diameter of both size tires to verify the height differences and realize that the 70 series tire might not fit on the 60 series rim as the sidewall width is different. Also the speedometer will read incorrectly and cruise control might not operate as effectively, if the overall tire diameter is different.
