2008 Sebring break lights not working?

Asked by Larry Jan 03, 2022 at 10:49 AM about the 2008 Chrysler Sebring Touring Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to find the issue on where and how to fix my break light issue.

So far replaced the break light switch and bulbs. Along with checking the
fuse. Everything is good there. There is power going to the Switch but cant
find power leaving. Is there anywhere else that I should be looking at finding
the Break light issue? turn signals all work also. My guess is a possible
ground issue but no idea where that might be at or a loop hole.

If the directional shares a bulb with the brake light the brake light wire will run through the directional switch after leaving it's own ., You said there's power to the switch so you must have a multi meter that'll make things a lot easier .,
