No power

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed battery in Mazda rx8 and no interior lights
when I try to start the car the flashers flash and
every light on the dash comes on. Not trying to turn
the engine over

I don’t know much about mazadas but the flashers flash is usually an alarm thing it would not start if the key that your using is not the main CHIPPED key. Its a security thing that keeps your car from being stolen with just a copy
