2006 crossfire wont pass emission

Asked by Apr 05, 2017 at 12:27 PM about the 2006 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Chrysler crossfire, runs great. Took it in for emission test, and did not pass because the car computer needed to be reset. I was told by Chrysler that car needed to be driven and it would reset it self. After 200 miles it still wont reset. Any ideas on what to try next.

It has to be highway driving, stop and go traffic, skow speeds and higher speeds for the computer to reset, did you do that???

yes, I did all that. They said this morning that they found a oxygen sensor that was bad. Going to put one in and then see if I can reset computer. Thanks

your car might require a particular drive cycle to reset the monitors in the ECU , check your owners manual or do a google search..

drove car almost 400 miles. do brakes turning off and restarting, highway speed, slow speed, everything possible but computer still wont completely reset. HELP!!
