Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello
I just bought a 2007 Denali 1500,very happy with it so far. I noticed the wipers aren't working in the delay mode, slow and fast work fine. Also the wiper heater is not working either, the 60 amp fuse is missing, so I will replace that and see if that was the problem. Any ideas on the delay mode. Where to start?

I answered part 2 of my own questions. The windshield fluid heat has been deactivated as there are 2 recalls. The first recall fix didn't work, so GM issued a second recall that simply disables the system.

And I answered part 1of my question. The truck has rain sensing wipers. The sensor is on the winshield on the right hand side of the rear view mirror. 1) pull off the cover 2) disconnect the sensor wire and leave it off 3) clip the cove back on The wipers now work like all other delay wipers.

Make sure the windshield has not been replaced with the wrong one covering the rain sensor. It has a special one that is clear in the sensor circle. If it is covered it will not work right.
