Electrical problem, after changing a rear bulbs the brake lights are stuck on, the cruse control is dead, the abs light is lit

Asked by ChrisPotter May 01, 2015 at 06:31 AM about the 2007 Jaguar X-TYPE 3.0L Sportwagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rear brake lights stuck on. Abs warning, stability control malfunction, cruse control not
working. All I did was change a lamp, now have changed both switches on foot pedal, still
no luck.

Usually when you have that many components go bad all at once, it's a failed BCM or Body Control Module. You may want to take it to a Euro shop and have it diagnosed. Or you could take a gamble and find a used one on Ebay.
