idle rough and cuts off after running car for a extended period of time

V6 engine, Car runs great but after running car for a period of time, when stopping it starts to idle rough and cuts off, starts right back up with no problem, sometimes when put back in gear cuts back off

having similar problem in my 88 base model.. might be your ideal control sensor..
