how to replace battery in KEY? ilco eh-3 key?
If it is a n102 it can be opened without a special tool (your insert the key into). Of the EH3 or EH3P (some sort of PHillips technology patent) - if it says near the metal n102 you open by pressing in the middle by where it says replaceable battery and pulling the key and bottom separate from the top. ILCO so advised and suggested a small screwdriver pushing down by the word battery in that groove (but a groove that does not open). Did not work. What worked - grab key from one side with pliers pushing down on top of the word battery - then I used a needle nose on the key and pulled away - pulled to separate --- and they did. Then there is a plastic nipple to remove the circuit board with the battery can be puled out --- the needle nose came in handy for all (mine is a replacement Nissan Altima 2004)
