I have a 93 chevy pickup that has been coverted over to carb and HEI. I had an electric fuel pump on it but I couldn't stand the noise. I put a manual pump on and now when I stop and it heat soaks it want to run out of gas. I have moved the lines, wrapped the line and it still does it. What can I do?

that pump should NOT make so much noise...I'd try a different notably silent one...they are out there....much easier then dealing with a return line...is already there for your electric one~

the electric one operates at perhaps 70 P.S.I...the mechanical one operates at perhaps 14 P.S.I...interested in HOW you gonna deal with the extra pressure...pipe it into the return line? curious!~
