If it's too hard to wiggle loose and pull off by hand, you can buy a cheap wiper arm puller at a store like Harbor Freight.

I tried the puller it did not work because the surface is tapered and the puller will slip

tried that. didn't work. I'd like to see a video of someone pulling one off of a 2006 town and country so I know what i'm trying to pull off. took it to a mechanic who couldn't take it off, said it was frozen. wanted to replace whole mech for 400. I'll use one wiper before doing that. Can't believe it's that hard.

My next plan is to try heating it with a micro torch. If that doesn't work going to local mom and pop mechanic that knows all the tricks without charging arm and leg.

Easy removal instructions: remove the plastic nut cover, remove the nut then screw the nut back on 3 full turns grab the wiper arm with one hand and with it pulled vertical tap the nut very decisively while pulling upward with the other hand. It will pop it loose every time.

take the nut off spray liquid wrench let set for a 2 hrs put the nut 4 turns on pull on the arm hit the nut hard with a hammer if that don't work get a bigger hammer. work for me

I wedged a pickle fork under the arm making sure it was not in contact with the glass, then did the nut and hammer strategy as described above and it worked perfectly. Note I did this after trying two different types of pullers with no success. Thanks for the tip!

I saw a video on YouTube about using a Pitman Arm Puller, and that worked perfectly for me. I couldn't get any of the techniques above to work properly. I purchased the puller at AutoZone for $18. YouTube link: https://youtu.be/G2ZZSF-Q5H8
