how do the power door locks on 2005 chrysler town and country work?
Have you tried changing the battery in your remote? If it's original it's probably weak or dead. If the other functions of the remote work and the locks work with the switches on the inside of the doors the remote is probably worn out. HTH. -Jim
Do they work when you unlock the door w the key? If not check the fuses, if fuses are good try from the passengerside, if they work then the master sw on the door needs replaced also if the door panel has been off an the door lock sw isn't plugged in they are all supplied power from the master sw on drivers door. Hope that helps also check remote battery
Fuses supply power to drver door sw which goes to the bcm through the alarm section back to the master sw and to the other locks
Your IOD is probably out. Pop the hood and look for a small fuse in the front of the Box and it will say IOD. Pop that out for 10 seconds and it will start working. We do this weekly with ours now.
