Check engine blinking
My van had something wrong in the motor. When
I put gas is come a Engine failure. And the check
engine light start blinking
The vehicle should be scanned for trouble codes, that would let you know what to repair.
You may have a problem with the EVAP system (gas tank vent).
A flashing check engine light is warning you that the engine is misfiring and damaging the catalytic converter. Since it's misfiring under load it sounds like an ignition system problem. If you have over 100,000 miles on your Town and Country you're due for a tune up. I'd try that first. Especially if you don't know if it's ever had a tune up. HTH. -Jim
I had a diagnostic check on my 2010 chrsyler town country. It said egr valve was bad. Changed it. Still same thing. Changed uper and lower o2 sensors. Still running rough and engine light flashing. Changed plugs and wires. Still same thing. Changed all 6 fuel injectors. Still same thing. Changed coil pack. Still same thing
Ecm. "The Brain" causes and controls so many electrical related problems, it's never too soon to bring into consideration.
Try replacing fuel pump and fuel filter and egr valve should do the trick bad gas running it out of gas is very bad motor has to breath to run smooth fuel system problems cause it to run rough and vapor lock
