I have a van and it burned a resistor out and melted the plug to the control and I need to know how to test the blower to make sure this doesn't happen again

I have a 2003 Town & Country and the A/C fan intermitently stops blowing air.at times. Sometimes, turning off the ignition and restarting will cause the A/C blower start blowing again. 2 Answers

2003 Town & Country. The AC, defrost, etc all stopped working in the front of the van. The Rear AC works fine. Do you think this is a blower motor resistor issue or a blown fuse?
