i got it about a month ago from a kid who blew the tranny up & i need to kno where to get a new one

how did he blow it up? My cousin and I removed a trans for his firebird at a junkyard or they may have one already pulled. It took us some improvising but the car was already raised up and it only cost him about 60 dollars. Just be careful you get one for the right engine because I had a 92 s10 with the 4 cylinder and its gearing is different than my 92 sonoma with a 2.8
