Replaced thermostat, and new radiator, still engine runs hot..ideas?

Water pump, collapsing lower radiator hose, worn timing chain, faulty knock sensor or PCM causing the ignition timing to be severely retarded. Air in the cooling system. Cooling system is dirty and needs a good flush. HTH. -Jim
