front wheels and feneders get hot
After I drive for a few miles the front wheels and fenders get pretty hot. I also notice the break pads are hot also
Possible dragging calipers brakes pads always loaded!
This is normal. Long as the car is not pulling one way or the other indicating a froze up brake caliper. You can check by lifting each side of the front end up, and make sure the wheels spin freely without a lot of force.
This car is new to me and I had pretty well thought the pads may be new and a little tight. The first answer is a possibility but the fact that it was around town driving I used the breaks more than normal. and the hot part of the fender was right above the breaks and the rems were hot also. Thanks guys
You might check the way you drive.....your previous cars may have had a similar problem if you happen to drive with your left foot on the brake and the right on the gas. My wife does this around town, the brake lights are on while she drives. If you do that it is something you must overcome, there is no easy answer.
