No start 2007 Buick Lucerne cxl
I was able to jump the car twice and get it to start
came out from Walmart had no lights on my clock
and radio wouldn't start but the car would start.
Jump the car correctly but I think I had faulty
jumper cables because smoke came from both
batteries and all the insulation from the cables
melted off. I could only get lights after that if I was
in the process of being jumped with a car would
never start. I replace the battery and the starter
and still no start. I was told to change the ignition
relay but I could not find it anywhere in the book or
the lid of my fuse box. What next?
If there was melting of cables, that is serious, you could have had a fire or worse, the battery explode. Consider yourself lucky. There is always a main battery fuse that will trip to protect the cars electronics. Check that as well. Just hope the wiring or ECM is not fried.
