Asked by Kinsley99 Nov 16, 2016 at 11:00 PM about the 1997 Saturn S-Series 2 Dr SC2 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was curious to see if on my 97 saturn sc2
automatic if there was a fuse that controlled the
obd2 port? I'm having problems when I plug in the
obd2 reader and its not powering on like it should.
And I have a check engine light that just came on.
Please any help would be great.

Yeah make sure the port is actually clean and there's no dust and debris or the reader that you have has no Dust or dirt on the connections. Look at the fuse box itself it usually has identifying words on it to which which fuse goes where
