Saturn sc2

Can a motor from a 1999 Saturn s series
automatic car work if put into a 2001
Saturn sc2 with a manual transmission
and actually run and be able to drive it?

I would say it's definitely doable but I think you're going to have to switch from a clutch stress plate to a bellhousing on the transmission meaning you have to mate the transmission to the engine and since it's not going to have a clutch you're going to have an automatic transmission which will have a bellhousing that you have to attach to the engine so I would imagine if you get a kit you'll be able to do it I'm not sure ask around or do a search online?

they are the same I did it on my own sc1 the only thing you will have to change is the is the manfold seeing the 1999 did not have a cat inside it and the 2001 has a cat in it
