What causes battery light to stay on after put in new battery & new alternator

I put in a new battery because my car wouldn't start & battery light was on 3 days later my new battery was dead so I put in new alternator and put in another new battery and still my battery light is on and the battery going down its not charging what could be causing this?

Your cars charging system is controlled by the ECM you might want to have the codes checked. It would aid you in further diagnosis, could be a circuit problem or even an ECM failure.
