I have had this problem on and off for over a year. Every time I had to check the battery posts to make sure they weren't corroded or not making contact with the cables. It's happened about 4 times and every time this was the problem. Clean the posts and cable terminals then reinstall them. If that doesn't work, check the cable going to the engine block or ground to see if it is solidly connected. I just took my 2006 in to have the cooling system flushed and when I went to get it, I had the problem again. The problem seems to start when I shift too quickly into reverse or drive. Sometimes I snatch it into reverse or drive. (leftover habit from years of 4 and 5 speed gear boxes.) I'm about to go out to troubleshoot the newest iteration of the problem. Will let you know what happens.
