how to" make the low oil light on the dash, go out?

have a little light, looKs like an oil can  that says "LOW", on my dash. how Do i make it go out??? THE OIL IS FINE. FULL.

ell, after.. i wrote this, i went out and opened the hood.. guess what? i am wrong, wrong, wrong..it was`nt the oil, it was the engine coolant duh !!!! anyway, it was quite low, so i filled it to the mark on the expansion tank that shows level when cold. it is fine now. thank you ever so much JIM... i really do appreciate your reply. merry chist - mas.
