1996 Buick Roadmaster cut off on me and when I tried to restart it it stop cranking and it wont do anything it won't crank or turn over
Now when I try to start it it won't do anything
it makes no sound but clicking under the
dash board on the driver side and passenger
This may be related to the antitheft system The system is known for turning off the starter and/or injectors when it fails. Normally when the injectors are turned off, the car will run for a second or two, and then stall. Is there a light on the dash that says SECURITY or a picture of a car with a lock through it? This is a common problem worth looking into. http://www.diy-gm- security.com/ & http://newrockies.com/ When this happened to me i heard the same clicking. It ended up being the failed Theft Deterrent Module which is located under the dash. Mine was just above my glovebox, yours will be above the brake pedal a little bit.
