I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4, with 26000 miles on it. Its a 4 wheel drive and V6 vehicle. On Friday I came to my car and remote did not work, I manually had to open the door and engine did not start either. I called road side and they jump started the car, I went to apartment leasing office and again engine did not start. Called road side and they came and said it is not a battery problem. 2014 RAV4 only 28K miles stalled. No problems until now. I was driving slowly thru a parking lot and it just died. On the way home it shuddered a few times. This was when I was just coasting, not giving it gas. I took it to the dealership and after checking it out, including a test drive, hooking up to computer, etc, they could not find anything wrong. Nothing showed up on the computer at all. Now I am scared to death to drive it! I've used the same gas, it was almost a full tank. Also there has been a smell of gas inside the car when I get into it. They checked the fuel system, injector system and all that. Nothing. Any more ideas? 4 Answers
