Transmission won't change gears

Asked by Draper Nov 27, 2017 at 10:07 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 97 Tahoe an the transmission gears not
changing. I put it in drive an it will shift but once I
put it back in park in shift back in drive or reverse
in don't catch gear move or anything.  Can you help
me out with this problem or give me any
suggestions.....Thank you

Bad tranhy or bad solniods inside the tranny, either way it will need to be looked at by a good tech, Good luck...
