Hello I have an Volvo xc90 2004 T6. I have a very bad MPG (10MPG).
Recently I got a code saying something about leak detection pump. I read this
response by ¨Justin¨ (see image attached) and trying to find out more response
for my issue

The code number would be a big help. If it is the evap system that has a leak the best way to find it is with a smoke machine. However if the purge valve is stuck open then it will need replaced. The code should tell you if it is a leak or if it is the valve or valve circuit. But usually a leak or stuck valve will no cause poor fuel economy. How is the tune of the engine? Check the air filter, clean the throttle body.

Volvo XC90 T6 AWD BAD MPG There are many things that impact Fuel efficiency/MPG...., Check these few ones and replace/repair as needed...,Special Automotive Electrical/Fuel System tools required for these Checks/Tests.., Engine Electrical System: Battery Conditions/Connections, PCM, Ignition Relay, Ignition Coil Pack/Spark-plugs wires Or Coil-over-plug Ignition Coil and wiring, Spark-Plugs remove/replace, CKP ignition timing. Engine Fuel System: engine air cleaner/filter, fuel filter, Throttle Body inspection/cleaning, Fuel Injectors-electrical connectors-wiring check, Evaporative Emissions Control system: Fuel vapor vent valve, EVAP canister purge valve at engine Intake Manifold.
