Question type: Maintenance & Repair

a couple of months ago, all of the windows in my car stopped working. I know
this is not a problem with the window motors because.. well just trust me ;)

in addition the power to the window switches was not working ie they usually
light up and they didnt anymore

this morning i got in my car and i turned it on and the headlights did not
work, nor did any of the dashlights or my stereo. the speedometer and time
still shows up but there is no backlight. i checked the fuses and they SEEM to
be fine but i could be mistaken.

my brights still work, and if i put my hazards on they work as well but the
turn signals dont.

any help would be appreciated

I need my car very very soon and dont have time to take it in

or money.

Jiggle your ignition key and see if anything flickers or comes back to life. This is typically caused by a bad ignition switch. (fcpgroton.com has them for $48)
