Used Volvo 960 for Sale near Downey, CA

I bought this 15-year old Volvo 960 3.0 24V Automatic sedan in April, with just over 400.000 kms on the clock (250 K miles). Considering it's size and weigh, and automatic gearbox, this car performs impressively with it's 204 BHP. It accelerates to highway speed in no time, and does repris accelleration smoothly and swiftly. This has no negative consequences to the luxurious feel the car was meant to give, as it is an all-out luxury sedan. The automatic gearshift is seemless and smooth, and accurately chosen to match as smooth a drive as possible. A "SWE" selector will let you choose between "S" (longer gears, lower gear, higher revs), "W" (Winter - high gears, slower acceleration, steady acceleration on ice), and "E" (Economic, shorter gears, up-shifting earlier, still fabulous performance) This car is the last rear-wheel drive from Volvo, the last "Volvo Classic" in the line, and definitely a worthy end to the classics. This car is incredibly easy to drive, smooth, and extremely maneuverable. But it is also a "fun" car to drive, with it's 6-cylinder in-line 3-liter engine, RW traction, and in "S"port mode, it's swift, and makes for a adrenaline rush. 100% recommended.

Very good performance, roomy, starts right up every time, smooth ride and very safe. I also love the leather interior and wood-grain finish. This car is a classic beauty and I'm so glad I bought it! I feel safe driving it and my son loves camping out in the roomy back trunk area!

good power, tight handles well @ 100 mph

This is my second Volvo, and it's been my favorite so far. Probably because it didnt have upwards of 300,000 kilometers on it.... It's not particularly fun to drive, unless it's in the winter time... It's got massive comfy leather seats that resemble the finest Swedish armchairs you've ever sat in....the ones that are heated... It's got a smashingly good OEM 8 speaker CD stereo, mono-leaf Corvette style fiberglass rear suspension, less computing power than a scientific calculator from Wal-Mart and the looks that would make the former East Germany scream and shout in panicked joy Best of all, It's a Volvo :)
