Coffee Spilled on MMI (Audi A6)
I spilled coffee in my Audi A6 2006. Of course it went all over the MMI control
panel. It powers up, the Audi MMI logo comes on the display screen, but
then it shuts completely off. None of the lights are coming on (am/fm, Nav
etc...) on the buttons, and the nothing is coming on on the display screen.
My question is, do I have to replace the entire MMI console or can I just
buy/replace the circuit board?

I'd remove it and properly clean all the electrical contacts. Your audi service department can advise the proper procedure.
TDolby - thank you for the advice. Any suggestions on the proper procedure to clean the contacts?
