2005 VW Jetta, 2.5L-P0480 Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Open"

Asked by Sep 27, 2016 at 02:24 AM about the 2005 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The small fan is not working. It's suggested that I "reset the cooling fan/fan
control Module Assembly"???... Can anyone direct me on how that is done
or a video of some sort that might show me?  PS... This seemed to
happen after we replaced the PCV cover and reset the Check Engine light
by disconnecting the negative cable. I don't see how this could be related
but I thought I'd include it just in case.
