98 BMW z3 computer reset

Asked by Jul 14, 2017 at 11:46 AM about the 1998 BMW Z3 2 Dr 1.9 Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I did a full motor and tranny swap
on my 98 roadster and it ran fine
for 2 days. I let it sit for 2 days
and now it wont even turn over.
Used a scanner and it read
p0600. I'm wondering if the code
just needs cleared? I've checked
everything else that could cause
this code and all is good. . Help.
Could it be the chip in my key?
