I have a 1986 Toyota Camry with ONLY a little over 50,000 miles. I've just been told that the rack and pinion must be replaced. What could I sell it for???

The body is in fair condition/bad rust spot near trunk/near back window. I just purchased a new battery and had it inspected.

Probably worth around $2K if you sell yourself in a clean state. Then deduct for the new rack and pinion and rust, so $1000 seems fair to me, and I would disclose the fact it needs a new Rack and Pinion.
