My gas tank sensor is not working properly. On these new gas station pumps the nozzle is short and it keeps clicking off, not allowing me to fill my tank, regardless if the tank is at 1/8 or higher.

what sensor, the fill hose operates on vacuum/air pressure, keep trying different positions or hold the pump at 1/2 instead of full flow..and eventually you will find the best position to hold the gas pump handle with out the pump clicking off...It is tricky pending models, I have been quite aggravated myself at times...
