How to fix over charged air conditioner to 2001

How do fix over charged air conditioner...I tried putting more r134a recharge refrigerant in my Mercedes and the gauge says it's already over charged ..what's up with that ??...and still no icy cold air ..any body knows what to do ??..DIY
