i own a 2001 E320 sedan awd - white smoke comes from the exhaust once
you go over 40 miles an hour was told it could be the piston rings or head
haskett. is it cheaper to replace engine? im looking for the best option not the
cheapest way out - dont want to overspend again shortly for refusing to pay
the right price from the start.

Sometimes putting a used engine in is cheaper than the labor involved in fixing the current one. You will need to get some quotes and deal with someone who has done it already on a MB.
