2000 Chevy Malibu

So I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu when my gas gage
gets to a quarter tank it starts to shudder and act
like it is not getting gas I was told maybe my gas
tank is to high up and that is it and in the winter
when it is low my car will not start!! Help me

Sounds like your gas gauge is not reading accurately. How many gallons does it take to fill up from the 1/4 mark? You have a 14 gallon tank. So if it takes pretty close to 14 gallons to fill it from the 1/4 mark, the gauge is off. HTH. -Jim
