Most likely your gas gauge isn't working correctly.

the guage is perfect there is about 20-30 liter fuel in it but the fuel pump does not pass fuel add some more liters and everythings fine

Did you recently replace the fuel pump? Had a similar issue with a '94 Ford Escort I used to own. The fuel pump I got was boxed wrong. It worked fine until the gauge hit 1/2 tank. Then the car would quit. The plck-up tube on the new pump wad too short. Perhaps that's what's going on. Or maybe your pick-up tube in the tank has a leak. HTH. -Jim

If you think it is the fuel pump; check the fuse for the fuel pump to make sure it is not blown. If there is energy to the fuel pump and thee fuel pump is working, I would recommend replacing the fuel filter as it may be plugged and that could be why you are not getting fuel to the engine.

thanx for the answer but if the fuse was blown then why would it pass fuel when the tank was full there is no pressure when the guage shows 1/2 tank fuel i think js08016 may be right ill open the fuel pump and see it

could be gas cap not venting properly, that explains why it is good until you reach 1\2 tank

i hade the same problem.there is a switch betwen the two tanks ,it must be replaced by a new one,to let the fuel on the other tank pass into the fuel pump.& every tank has a gauge, which that mean you have 2 gauges & 2 tanks & a switch to combine the fuel in the two must replace the switch by another one new.

check your fuse if it is burnt the fuel pump is going out to much ressitance then check the fuel pump relay .it is cheap replace the relay it could be getting hot and they fail when hot .most cars only have one tank.if you have a check engine go to autozone and have the read the code for you free that will lead you to the problem
